Tornado in Nappanee

My home town of Nappanee was hit pretty badly by a tornado last week. Thanks everyone that asked about our families. Everyone we know is OK and didn’t suffer any major damage, but a lot of people did. Ryan and Alicia from back home have good coverage on their blogs.

    My son and I both drive out of Nappanee for Hoosier Transit….they contract with Gulf Stream….Sam(son) was there at 8PM dropping off a unit for repair, {lucky for him that he didn’t stay and wait for the storm to pass, he may not have made it out}……he called and I told him to head east and not towards Warsaw…the first batch missed Nap, but that second one did the trick….being retired, the RV gig was basically just for fun for me….but I know there will be lots of folks hurting…..good luck with the clean up.
